Jizzakh Medical Cluster: assessing operational readiness
Preliminary operational readiness assessment
A joint working group of MedCare24 GmbH and specialists from Freiburg conducted a preliminary assessment of a new facility at the Jizzakh Medical Cluster in Uzbekistan. At the time of the assessment, the facility was preparing for commissioning.
The review covered spatial planning, functional zoning, technical infrastructure, medical and diagnostic equipment, internal logistics, and proposed clinical and administrative workflows. The group visited diagnostic, operating, laboratory, technical and support areas.
The focus was on how facilities, equipment and future workflows could function together. MedCare24 coordinated the expert work, bringing medical, infrastructure and management considerations into a combined assessment.
The preliminary review provides a basis for developing further recommendations on clinical operations and a potential management model. This account describes the assessment at the preparatory stage.
